Dear Alpha Epsilon Officers, Advisers and Members:

Greetings from the National Executive Committee of Alpha Epsilon!  We hope your semester has gotten off to a great start.  It is time to start thinking about applying for the Outstanding Chapter of the Year Awards.  The application is enclosed.  If you would prefer an electronic copy of the application e-mail me at bracmort at purdue.edu or visit our National web page at http://www.alpha-epsilon.org. The deadline for applications this year is April 1^st. 

Since many of you will conduct initiations this Spring, I would like to address the initiation procedure.  Please send requests for certificates and proof of payment to Kelsi Bracmort at least 2 weeks BEFORE you need them (address and email are listed below).  After the initiation, you should send the names of the initiates and the one-time national dues ($10 per initiate) to Richard Willoughby (address given below).  Remember, candidates for membership are not members of Alpha Epsilon Honor Society until dues are paid and names are placed on the national roster.  If you have any questions about this process, please do not hesitate to contact one of us.

Lastly, Alpha Epsilon has paid the set-up fee for Alpha Epsilon jewelry.  For more information about purchasing lapel pins (approximately $4/pin) or polo shirts (approximately $17/shirt), please contact Russell Persyn (rap at tamu.edu).
